Movit Tanzania had already built a reputation for providing high-quality and affordable personal care products, and now, they are cementing their presence in Tanzania.

But Movit wasn’t content with just being a familiar name on the shelves; they wanted to make a deeper connection with their customers. They wanted to show Tanzanians just how easy and affordable it could be to achieve the hairstyles of their dreams. And so, the “NATAKA KAMA HIVYO” campaign was born.

WHAT WE DID

The campaign’s idea was simple but powerful: to educate customers about how easy it is to create their desired hairstyles using Movit’s wide range of hair products. The campaign aimed to position the brand as the go-to brand for anyone looking to achieve the perfect look, highlighting how effortlessly their products could help bring these styles to life.

The strategy direction was bold: to increase engagement, attract new followers, and spark conversations across social media platforms. Movit wanted people to not only try their products but also share their experiences. The goal was clear—encourage Tanzanians to use the campaign hashtag #natakakamahivyo, post their looks, and engage with the brand.

The execution was just as innovative. We prepared captivating visuals and real customer testimonials showing the true potential of their products. The team created a variety of themed content, each showcasing different hairstyles that could be easily achieved with Movit’s products. From sleek, shiny hair to bouncy curls, the visuals were vibrant, trendy, and, most importantly, relatable. We made sure the images spoke directly to the diverse styles of Tanzanians, from everyday looks to bold and glamorous ones.
The campaign utilized a multi-channel approach, spreading its message across social media, internet ads, content marketing, and influencer partnerships. On Facebook and Instagram, we shared dynamic videos and stunning images that highlighted the ease of achieving beautiful hairstyles with Movit. Everyday users were encouraged to join in by sharing their hair transformations with the hashtag #natakakamahivyo.

The response was incredible. Over 200 pieces of user-generated content flooded in from across social media. Tanzanians were eager to show off their Movit-inspired looks, and the engagement was through the roof. Followers flocked to Movit’s pages to not only find new hairstyle ideas but to connect with others who shared similar interests.
